Start with a clear soup such as chicken and mushroom.Choose a dish that contains lots of bean shoots and have boiled rice with it, not fried.
References :
GP for more years than I care to remember

Chicken with pineapple is really nice, and team it with boiled rice and you're on to a winner.

According to my weightwatchers points booklet, chicken with pineapple is worth 3 points, and a portion of boiled rice is 6.5 (I think).

In the booklet that I have, it lists the points of eating out, so it will show you how many points typical chinese things are worth.

Perhaps do some aerobic exercise around the house today, and earn yourself some bonus points to use.
References :
Go for boiled rice instead of fried with steamed or stir fried chicken & veg. Avoid anything in batter and stay away from the appetisers.

Think about the kind of sauce your food comes in, dishes in a watery sauce like chop suey will have less fat & calories than thicker sauces like sweet & sour, that said you could just choose whatever you want and eat point free food tomorrow.
References :
Order something with a high proportion of vegetables, and rice because it has a lot of carbohydrates, but make sure it's steamed, and start off with soup to fill you up. I think if you ask at the resturant for meals low in fat, they can help you out. Beware of crispy...
References :
Either Chop Suey or Chow Mein... I cannot remember which is which but one of them is just basically veg... not the one with the noodles and gravy/sauce... I think Chow Mein is the one you need to go for... It has all the bamboo shoots, mange tout, bean-sprouts etc etc etc... :)
