Is P90X Worth the Money and Will It Work?
This is my personal review of P90X from a personal trainer’s point of view. Yes, I actually think it is a great workout. It is very intense, it has pretty quick workouts, and if you can stick with it… you will see results. However, there are some negatives about it that might cause you problems. Let’s take a closer look.
It’s a good program, even though they use some meaningless terminology like muscle confusion. Most of the works are good at working out your entire body and changing things up enough to make the workout time productive. They do however, have some complete isolation moves in strange places. It still works though.
One thing that I was very excited to see from a fitness program that came from the TV was that is definitely used resistance training and weight training. Not to mention that is pushes you to do things like pull ups, which are one of my favorite exercises to lose weight.
It was not the best because it is a difficult workout. So if you are a brand new then you will probably get discouraged and give up. So I suggest you start somewhere else and then move your way to P90X.
When you do, you will not be disappointed. Even though it’s 3 months long and you might get a little bored, I don’t think that would really be the case. Try it when you’re ready and enjoy the results.
