I want something other than an ipod… but which?
The ipod has a lot of good things to it but there really are quite a few options when you look at it. Most other jukebox mp3 players can load any song with any host computer because they conform to industry standards, namely USB mass storage. The ipod has since been able to be used like this but it is not turned on by default.
The great thing about this type of storage is that you can easily share songs with your friends. Instead of leaving your cd over at your friends they can listen to it as well.
Also the best part is if you lose your device you have an easy way to get your music back, even if you can’t buy another ipod right away.
