italian restaurant for a late night dinner?
sorry i asked this question before and i got a lot of different answers.
so i was wondering (again), which is the healthiest spaghetti i can get at an italian restaurant?
i know that it should be whole wheat noodles, if they have, but what kind of sauce should it have and things like that?
im looking for something that will give me good energy for the next day and the lowest in calories, fat, etc.
please help if you know!
Marinara sauce – no meat, just a tomato sauce.
Stay away from anything with butter or cream – no alfredo, no carbonara, no pesto (lots of fat).

Calories are energy. If you want energy, you gotta get calories.
Try "pomodoro e basilico", or "aglio, olio e peperoncino", or "arrabbiata" (the last two are pretty garlicky and spicy, though).
And whoever says that pesto has "lots of fat" doesn’t know what real pesto is like. Sure it’s made with lots of olive oil, but it doesn’t contain any cholesterol. Fat can be good for you sometimes…
