What do you suggest I eat at this Italian restaurant?

I’m visiting Washington D.C. and I’m planning to eat at Buca di Beppo, an Italian restaurant. Please, if you’ve been there, tell me what tastes good there, including the salad, pasta, entree, beverages, and appetizers. If you haven’t been there, go to http://www.bucadibeppo.com/locations/default.aspx and look through the menu under D.C. Help me! I’m not Italian so I have no clue!!!! Thank you soooo much guys!!!!!!!!!!1
I like salads and veggies especially eggplant, onion, and tomatoes, so please choose something like that!!!!!! Thx <333
Uh, btw I’m old enough to drink… LOL Plz type up a "full course" for me… thx <333

Appetizer: I think they all look too heavy for just an appetizer.

Salad: Warm tomato and spinach salad.

Entree: Penne San Remo

Dessert: Apple Crostata

Drink: I always get the house chianti when I have italian.

I don’t think the menu looks very good…everything seems really heavy to me :(

I personally have not been to Buca, but in Philly I have friends that rave about how awesome the food is. I also have a cousin who’s been to the one in Chicago and he had good things to say about it too (he usually has a very discriminating palate). So I would say go for it….

As far as ordering I’d suggest:Appetizer- Mozzarella Caprese, Entree-
Chicken Saltimbocca (but if you prefer veggies over meat I’d say the Eggplant Parmigiana) with the Italian Broccoli Romano side, Desert- Gelato della Casa

Why you worried about it now. Look at the menu when you get there. Everything is broken down and it tells you what is in the dish. You dont have to be italian to know what to order. Have you never eaten anywhere besides mcdonalds or something??

I’ve eaten at a local Buca di Beppo twice, and I won’t make it a 3rd. Food and service were horrible. Pretty sad when the best thing you eat in an Italian restaurant is the cheese-garlic bread.

We took our kids and their significant others the first time. We were charged for large size dishes but received small size.
