Olive Oil Dip for Italian Bread
Serves 4
They serve this dip at the more elite Italian restaurants
1/4 cup olive oil
5 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon crushed dried oregano
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
fresh ground black pepper, to taste
Pour the olive oil onto a salad plate. Use a garlic press to press the garlic cloves onto five different spots on the plate. Drizzle the balsamic vinegar over the oil and garlic. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and oregano,and red pepper flakes Season with black pepper.
Put in dipping bowls and serve with warm bread

Olive Oil Dipping Sauce
3 – 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Pour olive oil into flat dish. Add remaining of ingredients and stir a bit. Serve with warm slices of Italian bread.
