Most famous mexican restaurant in Los Angeles is?

I heard about this restaurant which offers best food and also has men with sombrero hats on who play Mexican music. Does anyone know what is the name of that restaurant? thanks!

I don’t know about famous….but, it’s very popular and fun….you may want to try El Compadre on Sunset. El Coyote on Beverly is fun too. They don’t have mariachi….but, the waitresses wear the big skirts! =o)

A lot of Mexican Restaurants have mariachis. You might try El Chollo’s on Western Avenue. They also have one in La Habra, Santa Monica and Irvine. They have been in business since the 1920’s
