What is the best authentic Mexican restaurant in San Jose, CA?

Or in the greater Silicon Valley. I just moved here from the westside of Los Angeles (where there are very few good Mexican restaurants to speak of) and am overwhelmed by the number of Mexican restaurants and taquerias! Help!

These are my two favorites. Tlaquepague on Lincoln in Willow Glen or Los Dos Compadres on Hamilton.

    I’m in Los Angeles, too, and I can completely relate. It looks like Taqueria Tlaquepague might be a good choice, since it won Best of Citysearch last year. And here are some other Mexican possibilities in the area.

    Do yourself a favor and find yourself a Mexican girl that can cook….I’m Mexican and have come to the conclusion that if you want a good, authentic mexican meal, you’re going to have to make it yourself or hopefully, like my husband, find someone who can! :)
