These are my two favorites. Tlaquepague on Lincoln in Willow Glen or Los Dos Compadres on Hamilton.

Do yourself a favor and find yourself a Mexican girl that can cook….I’m Mexican and have come to the conclusion that if you want a good, authentic mexican meal, you’re going to have to make it yourself or hopefully, like my husband, find someone who can!

I’m in Los Angeles, too, and I can completely relate. It looks like Taqueria Tlaquepague might be a good choice, since it won Best of Citysearch last year. And here are some other Mexican possibilities in the area.
