Saltwater Fish Tank Maintenance Tips
When you decide to have a saltwater fish tank, once you get it going, it is going to require some maintenance on your part. This way you ensure the entire ecosystem keeps good health.
-One a weekly basis, here are some things to do:
-check water temperature
-top the seaclear aquarium off
-look for algae growth
-observe fish for sickness signs
-check on power devices
-inspect the filter
Each month you need to do the following:
-inspect the fish
-inspect all of the equipment in the fish tank
-do a partial change of the water in the tank
On a semi-annual basis, the following should be done:
-fully clean the entire tank, changing out all the water, and cleaning all the accessories in the tank.
