What are your favorite restaurants at Disney?

We are not getting the meal plan. We are planning on mostly quick serve meals, but want to have a couple of nice sit-down meals. Which restaurants do you like?

These are some of my favorite restaurants, some of them are quick service and some are sit down:

Magic Kingdom:
Cinderella’s royal table
Crystal Pallace
Liberty tree tavern
Pinocchio’s Village Haus
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe

Epcot:
Sunshine Seasons
Garden Grill
Electric Umbrella

Hollywood Studios:
Sci-fi Drive in Theater
Hollywood and Vine
ABC commissary
50’s Prime Time Cafe
Back Lot Express

Animal Kingdom:
Tusker House
Restaurantosaurus
Rainforest Cafe

Resorts:
Chef Mickey’s (Contemporary Resort)
1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian)

  5. My top 3 favorite restaurants in order of preference (of course they’re all located in EPCOT’s World Showcase…the best restaurants around!):

    1) Le Cellier (Canada) – Filet Mignon with mushroom Risotto…mmmmmmm!

    2) Tokyo Dining (Japan) – Elegant Japanese food with a view of the lagoon if you ask for a window seat…especially great at sunset or during Illuminations Fireworks Show.

    3) Les Chefs de France (France) – Again, ask for a window seat to view the lagoon.

…Check out the menus and prices on this website http://allears.net/din/dining.htm …you can even look at the photos of the actual restaurant …’cause I’m big on ambiance as well.

P.S. …I haven’t been yet, but I also read good things about Yak ‘n Yeti (Animal Kingdom).

  10. We really enjoyed eating at The Coral Reef in EPCOT because it has a glass wall the length of the restaurant that looks into the aquarium; it was so neat. And the Mahi Mahi was to die for.
Narcoossee’s, I think it’s at the Grand Floridian was also good, but expensive. But their desserts were awesome.
Le Cellier in Canada at EPCOT was great for steak.

  11. If your looking for a quicker meal, I suggest Toy Story Pizza Planet at Hollywood Studios. It serves pizza and salad and has a large arcade inside. It’s right across from the Muppet’s 3D.
Also, at Epcot, one of my favorites is the Electric Umbrella. They have cookout foods likehot dogss and hamburgers. It’s pretty much inside Inoventions.

If your looking for some nice sit down meals, the two I suggest are Chef Mickey’s andCrystall Palace.
They are both buffets, which is good to fill you up so you can have smaller, cheaper meals the rest of the day.
Chef Mickey’s is in the Contemporary resort. You can take the monerail right inside the hotel or you can drive. It takes a while to get a table so make sure you have reservations ahead of time.
Crystal Palace is inside the Magic Kingdom. It’s right off main street towards the end on your way to the castle. It feels great, since it is very air conditioned, to come in from the super hot sun and cools off and get all your favorite foods.
Both are character dining, so the characters come up to you while you are eating for pictures and autographs. Kids love these places and the food isn’t bad either. Both are around $30 a person, so make sure you pick wisely.
