Since then this industry has seen an extremely positive reaction from vacationers around the world. the Caribbean cruising industry is one of the bigger markets and it is a fast developing one at that and as of now it is also the most popular amongst cruisers. Of the American cruise lines, many of them which are inside the Caribbean sail from ports in the United States, with nearly one-third of them sailing out of Miami. Other cruise ships depart from Port Everglades, Port Canaveral, New York, Tampa, Galveston, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Of the UK cruise lines, quite a few sail their ships out of Barbados for the Caribbean season, by running direct charter flights out of the UK and avoiding the sometimes prolonged delays at US immigration.
